September, 14 till 18, 2016 Odessa National Maritime University in collaboration with the Institute of Sociology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences with the support of the Consulate General of China in Odessa was held the First International Scientific Conference "Social Transformation: Family, Marriage, Youth, Middle Class аnd Innovation Мanagement in New Silk Road» ("Social transformation: family, marriage, youth, middle class and management innovation in New Silk Way along countries ").

The conference was attended by representatives of public authorities, the Consulate General of China in Odessa, maritime industries, leading scientists of Ukraine and the People's Republic of China, graduate and undergraduate students.

The conference results are set out in the resolution and published in the monograph.

During the conference, an agreement was signed on cooperation between ONMU and the Institute of Sociology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
