List of Documents and Procedures for Foreign Applicants

at Odessa National Maritime University

I. Documents required to submit to ONMU

1. For Bachelor or Master degree applicants:

• a) 2 copies of the passport translated into Ukrainian.
• b) Original and copy of educational documents with the list of studied courses and grades, verified by the Ukrainian embassy or with an "APOSTILLE".
• c) Medical insurance.
• d) 6 photographs (3.5 x 4.5 cm).

All documents must be submitted personally at the ONMU admission office upon arrival.

2. For Postgraduate or Doctoral applicants:

• List of published scientific research works, certified by the head of the educational institution or workplace.
• In the absence of published works, a research paper (report) in the chosen scientific field must be submitted.

3. Additional Legalization Requirements:

All documents must be in Ukrainian. Documents under paragraph c (medical insurance) and paragraph b (educational documents for postgraduate applicants) must be certified and legalized unless otherwise stated in international agreements of Ukraine.
